The Level 2 Report offers the facility to address a few specific queries regarding the property. If, however, the property is older or has been poorly maintained or is of non-traditional construction, then a RICS Home Survey – Level 3 (Building Survey Report) is likely to be more appropriate. This survey is also appropriate if you intend carrying out comprehensive alterations, or have a list of matters on which you require specific advice.
